- Enables users the capability of Managing the SCoA (Admin, Leader, or Manager) to alter the Standard Chart of Accounts (“SCoA”) account hierarchy without deleting SCoA accounts. The account mapping is now even simpler.
Bug Fixes / Feature or Functionality Enhancements
- Updated “Manage the SCoA” Knowledge Base article to clarify the SCoA Account Move.
- Enhanced the What If – Cashflow and Forecasting Optimizer tool, enabling users to now save their Models, as well as save their “Preview Save As” reports after previewing. Users will now find their “Preview Save As” reports in their “Mine” tab of Libraries.

- Updated to new Report and Package Editor designer.
- Resolved issue with bars sometimes blocking horizontal axis labels when building charts. Text is now fully legible and clear, rendering this a user-friendly workspace.
- Added tracing and logging to diagnose future Xero issues faster.
- Resolved issues with white space in library asset names.
- Enhanced the Advanced Mapping Bulk view so users can click “Lock Selection” or “Unlock Selections” with no changes made to the grid and without initiating a page freeze or error message email.
- Resolved issue of dropdown menu covering checkbox icon in the Reports Styler. Users can now easily select “Show Icons Only” whether the Icon dropdown is open or not.
- Enhanced tracking in account map audit log so employees using customer Admin Portal are tracked when performing account map locking for Qvinci customers; a proactive, additional layer of security and protection.
- Resolved issue with Ranking Report throwing 500 error instead of Multi-Entity Filter blocker warning when Filter has more than the allowed number of Entities.

- Released enhanced functionality of the ‘Cancel’ button on Manage > SCoA so users no longer have to remember their SCoA names to restart the page. It’s now easier to refresh the page if a user runs into the “Name field cannot be empty” popup and continue smoothly with their tasks.
- Added button for “Instructions For Using Map to SCoA” to the top of Tools > Map to SCoA for enhanced user experience.
- Added button for “Instructions For Using Advanced Mapping” to the top of Tools > Map to SCoA > Advanced Mapping for enhanced user experience.
- Designated users (Admin, Leader, Manager, Contributors) now have ability to LOCK their mappings on a per-account basis so those accounts will not automatically remap during future syncs. Bug Fixes / Feature or Functionality Enhancements
- Resolved issue of “Adjust to” in Page Setup not scaling PDF exports.
- Resolved issue of General Ledger click-through for some QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Balance Sheet accounts/totals not returning transactions when transactions exist. Certain cases were mistakenly parsing the “Other Current Liability” account type as “Current Liability” in the General Ledger whenever General Ledger synced.
- Resolved issue of SCoA showing no General Ledger activity when drilling down on the SCoA for a particular month, even though CoA showed activity for specific account mapped to the SCoA. QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Balance Sheet totals now fully reconcile transactional changes.
- Resolved error message popup when using “This 36 month” date range from P&L in gallery template. Code path now delivers the user’s request precisely.
- Resolved truncated error message popup users received when entering a duplicate name with a “.” (period) or “,” (comma) in it. Now users receive the fully informative error message so correcting the issue is easy and seamless.
- Resolved issue of broken “Error” message users received when trying to filter Trial Balance with incompatible file source. Users now receive the informative message, “Trial Balance is not available for Excel, AccountRight, QuickBooks (By Class), QuickBooks Online (By Class), or Xero,” which provides a clear reason why their command did not process so next steps can easily be taken.
- Improved the exception handler for BluSynergy calls to send better information to the event log and e-mail, so Qvinci can determine customer problems before they occur.
- Proactively updated our internal Simple Email Service credentials form to ensure full support and that all emails are sent.
- Resolved issue of event log message limitation blocking writing to event logs when event messages exceeded Microsoft’s limit. Reconciled the limit. Event logger now consistently writes to the event log and immediately notifies Customer Success.
- Enhanced technical support by sending a telemetry error email to Customer Success and Development Teams when a “Something went wrong” error is triggered. Now the Customer Success and Development Teams can coordinate and respond quicker to resolve customer issues.

- For the Qvinci Turkey Advisor Program, applied Consolidation Blocker feature to ALL Base Reports, including ‘Cash’ and ‘Accrual’ Clients that will be created via the Qvinci Turnkey Advisor Program. As well, the helpful Threshold WARNING feature now applies to all Base Reports. This added feature protects Accountants from inadvertently creating single reports with data from various clients.
Bug Fixes / Feature or Functionality Enhancements
- Matched text in pop-up message for Report Editor, Document Editor, and Package Editor when trying to Save with a non-unique name. For ease of use and clear guidance, the message now reads, The chosen name “REPORT NAME | PACKAGE NAME | DOCUMENT NAME” is already taken, choose a unique name. Please reload the page or contact support.
- Enhanced text of message user sees when Renaming without entering text (empty field) under the Libraries Mine tab. User now sees message explaining nature of error so next steps can be taken: The “DOCUMENT | PACKAGE | REPORT” name must be between 1 and 50 characters in length. Please reload the page or contact support.”
- Enhanced text of messages users see for V2 Report previews and Packages that contain AR/AP Aging reports whose report/file source combinations are not available. Users now see friendly messages clearly explaining errors (respectively):
- “A/R Aging is not available for AccountRight, or QuickBooks Online (By Class)”
- “A/P Aging is not available for AccountRight, or QuickBooks Online (By Class)”
- Revised verbiage from “Changing Client/Company” to “Switching” for sake of consistency in documentation and aiding in an easier and clearer reading/learning experience for the user.
- Resolved issue of users being able to create Documents with duplicate names from within the Libraries or the Document Editor, as well as being able to rename Reports with duplicate names. Now, unique names are required for the purpose of user consistency and clarity.
- Enhanced login process so leading and trailing whitespace is automatically removed from the ‘add user’ and ‘password reset’ form submissions. Now users who inadvertently capture empty spaces while utilizing copy/paste for their input will no longer trigger an error, making the process more convenient.
- Resolved issue of Average options disappearing from ‘Options’ when running a P&L Monthly report with “Include Client Average,” “Top 10%,” or “Top 20%” selected. Now users can select any of the Average options when building P&L Monthly and P&L Weekly reports.
- Resolved issue of session setting As Of Date that’s not the end of the month for previous months by clicking the ‘Apply’ button quickly. Eliminated microsecond lag-time between click and initiation. Now, the system default updates the day element and implements end of previous month’s date every
- Resolved issue of wrong report end dates when the current reporting period ends in a 28-, 29-, or 30-day month. Offset code default was revised to land on last possible moment of months instead of length of day lengths.
- Resolved issue of General Ledger month-based OFFSET for Quarterly frequency omitting transactions. Now all click-throughs to the GL Activity report result in all respective transactions loaded for user.
- Resolved issue of user receiving error message when trying to save a report without editing. An automatic saving feature has been added and the user will now be taken to the report styler.

- Replaced the “What’s New in V2” link in Report Editor with a link straight to the Advisory Portal.
- Copied the report description when performing a “Save As” command in the Report Editor so the local copy will receive the same description as the source report. If the user does not want the description, or simply wants it blank, they can easily go back to their copy and remove or change it.
- Enabled Billable Leaders to have the same billable access to invoice pages as Administrators have, as they are in charge of their Networks/Accounts billing.
- Redesigned “Remap Budgets” page for QuickBooks Online/QuickBooks Online by Class so that the Zendesk help link is now in the top left of the page, making it easier for the user to locate.
- Switched to “Change Client/Company” page that users are taken to after they delete a client/company; optimizes usability.
Bug Fixes / Feature or Functionality Enhancements
- Removed the NAICS fields from onboarding workflows to make the onboarding experience smoother for new Qvinci customers.
- Enhanced file naming capabilities so a user’s Excel, Report, and Package downloads have the single Entity name identified in the file name ONLY when a single Entity hydrates into the Excel, Report, or Package file.
- Resolved issue of GL not correctly adjusting to resulting month’s end date when users chose an “As Of Date” that has fewer days in it than other months. Now GL users can easily click-through “This Month,” “Last Month,” and “This Month Last Year” and get results that include accurately adjusted months.
- Enhanced GL Activity Report functionality so that users can now name a native account “Other” without conflicting with account hierarchy structuring.
- Enhanced the user interface by removing ‘Change’ button from QuickBooks Online Manage Entities as it is no longer relevant due to previous usability modifications.
- Enhanced the search function on Manage > Account Permissions and Manage > Client Permissions. Initially, users were limited to searching by “Starts with…” only. Now users can utilize “Contains” as well as case-insensitivity when searching.
- Resolved issue of broken link under Tools > Map to SCoA > Help > Account Map Help. The link has been updated and now leads the reader to the updated and helpful article, “Map to SCoA Using Classic Mapping.”
- Updated red text in General Ledger to denote “Libraries” instead of “My Reports” (which no longer exists). Updated respective text in the left nav bar as well.
- Updated “Health Check” text from Tools > Health Check to reflect that Health Check is run only once per week on Sundays instead of after every successful sync.
- Edited text on the Manage > Users page for clarity and readability.
- Added trimming to Search function so that if a user has spaces in front of their search term (from copy/paste, etc.), the Search function will perform error-free and return accurate results.
- Deployed new “As Of Date” regression testing to ensure updated versions run seamlessly for exceptional user experience.

- Fixed a bug on Manage > Entities page when a Company/Client has no Entities created. Page now displays a link to the Zendesk 'Help' to create inventory (if needed) and create Entities.
- Fixed a bug on the General Ledger ("GL") Activity Report where the start date of a Custom Date Range would reset if the end date selected was the current month.
