Overview
The Qvinci Sync Application is self-updating. However, in some instances, the application continuously displays the update wizard when the user tries to launch the sync application. There is a simple process to fix this issue. Once you follow these instructions, the sync application will then self-update correctly moving forward.
Windows 8.1 and Server 2012r2 or Newer
Step 1. Ensure all instances of the sync application are closed by opening the Task Manager and checking that QvinciSync.exe is not in the list of running processes. If it is, click on it and end the process.
Step 2. Go to Windows Explorer, click This PC, and then select C: Drive.
Step 3. In the address bar, type C:\ProgramData.
Step 4. Open the Qvinci folder.
Step 5. Delete any and all Qvinci Sync Client versions you see inside this folder.
Step 6. Re-launch the sync application.
