How Does Qvinci Work?

Overview

Qvinci is a global leader in financial reporting technology and provides Financial Consolidation, Reporting & Business Intelligence through our platform and reporting tools.  Our patented software works with QuickBooks®, Xero®, MYOB®, and Excel® to provide you with insightful reporting and game-changing analysis. The components of Qvinci are:

The Qvinci Dashboard

• A dashboard that allows for thousands of accounting files to be synced into a centralized repository.
• Allows for consolidation, benchmarking/comparisons, side-by-side comparisons, vertical analysis, etc., and for reports to be run on one, many, or all entities.

The Qvinci Sync Client

• A small download which is installed on the same machine where the accounting software is installed.
• Syncs non-fraud sensitive data into the dashboard for reporting purposes.

QuickBooks Desktop users will download the Qvinci Sync Client to the machine where their financial software is installed. QuickBooks Online and Xero users will make direct connections to data files from inside their Qvinci account. 

Once the user goes through a "Linking and Syncing" process, copies of the data will transmit into the dashboard. Future sync processes can happen automatically, depending upon the financial data software and the user's operating system. Reports are available immediately after syncing. Syncs may happen at set times, automatically overnight (QuickBooks online) or multiple times a day, depending upon the user's preference.

Standard Chart of Accounts (SCoA)

Disparate charts of accounts can be automatically mapped into a Standard Chart of Accounts for normalized reporting. Reports can be viewed in the organic chart of accounts or the Standard Chart of Accounts by toggling between them. 

Users are granted visibility to Qvinci by the Qvinci Administrator or Qvinci Business Manager(s). Users may be given access to only one, some, or all locations. This prevents Users from seeing other User's financial data when needed. 

Currency Conversion

Qvinci does offer multi-currency conversions utilizing XE for currency conversion. (See XE.com for more information.)
