Overview
What does a user need to do when syncing with the accounting program MYOB and you receive this error message? If your MYOB file presents an "Index 48" error message, this error is related to a corrupt data file.
The file should be repaired through "optimization." This error has not been known to prevent the Qvinci Sync Application from linking or syncing the file, but instead indicates that the MYOB file itself needs to be repaired/optimized.
Optimizing an MYOB File
If the user cannot log into the MYOB file to run the Optimization Assistant, this can be accessed from outside the file by navigating to All Programs > MYOB AccountRight Premier > MYOB Tools > Optimization Assistant.
Note: If the MYOB file is on a server, it is recommended that the user copy the file to their PC/desktop for better optimization times. Generally, the optimization steps will repair the MYOB file. On occasion, the user may find that further steps need to be completed through a restore of the file.
