Overview

We've implemented As of Week as an option when running P&L GL Weekly reports. Client managers can set a Client‑specific override As Of Week using Client As Of Week located in the Left Menu, under Reports & Libraries. Previously, we only had an As of Date option. Now, As of Week settings are easily visible and accessible for all users with new options. This option has the same look and feel as our As of Date.  While in the Library you will also see that you can adjust the As of Week, just like the As of Date.  Manage your As Of Week settings used by Documents, Reports, and Packages to utilize the As Of Week feature. You will be able to make adjustments to your P&L GL Weekly reports once it is enabled at the Company/Client level and therefore any As Of Week elements should only be seen when those Company/Clients are the users “active” Company/Client.  If an active Company or Client DOES NOT have P&L GL Weekly enabled and a user attempts to run either a report or package they will be notified that they can’t until it is enabled. If an active Company or Client DOES have P&L GL Weekly enabled and a report is hydrated all reports will use the current As Of Date EXCEPT any P&L GL Weekly ROMs, which will use the As Of Week. 

Notes:

• As Of Week is ONLY available at the Company/Client level
• As Of Week can be found under Reports & Libraries > Company/Client As Of Date. It will ONLY be visible if the active Company/Client has P&L GL Weekly enabled.
• As Of Week impact on As Of Date Session Override UI will ONLY be visible if the active Company/Client has P&L GL Weekly enabled.
• As Of Week defaults to “Relative” type, “Last Week” to mirror the same spirit Monthly As Of Date.
• As Of Week will only impact P&L GL Weekly rollups and P&L GL Weekly reporting, no effects on Advisory Portal, Financial Portal, etc.
• As Of Week ties to the END dates of the weeks supplied by the Accounting Calendar.

You can select the date to Relative to the Current Date or you can pick a custom date.

Individual users can set a browser Session‑specific override As Of Week by using the Session As Of Week Chooser located at the top of relevant pages, next to Filter Entities and As of Date. 

GL Weekly reports will have the As Of Week inserted into their templates. You will see the text {{As Of Week}} in the report template. The text will be replaced by the Current Browser Session, or Client As Of Week value, in that order, whichever is found first.
