BI-Ranking & Benchmarking by Entity Reports

Overview

Qvinci offers two powerful Business Intelligence (BI) Ranking reports designed to help you evaluate, compare, and coach entities using clear, data-driven insights:

• BI-Ranking – Selectable Periods + $ + %
  (Available in both SCoA and Native versions)

• BI-Ranking + Benchmarking – Selectable Periods + $ + %
  (Available in both SCoA and Native versions)

These Ranking by Entity reports allow you to analyze financial performance across up to 300 entities in a consolidated, table-based view. Each entity appears as a row, with key financial metrics displayed as columns—making it easy to compare results and identify trends at a glance.

Commonly used metrics include:

• Total or Net Income

• Gross Profit

• Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

• Total Expenses

• Up to three custom accounts of your choice

Metrics can be sorted in ascending or descending order, allowing you to quickly identify top and bottom performers. These reports are especially effective as diagnostic and coaching tools, helping franchisors and business coaches pinpoint performance gaps, reinforce best practices, and guide franchise owners toward improved results.

These enhanced BI-Ranking reports include several new and expanded capabilities:

• Three selectable reporting periods

• Entity filtering and sorting

• Support for up to three custom accounts

• Entity-by-row layout for clearer comparisons

• Flexible metric selection to support coaching and performance analysis

Additional Features in the Benchmarking (BM) Report

The BI-Ranking + Benchmarking report also provides peer comparison insights, including:

• Comparison to the Top 10% of entities

• Comparison to the Top 20% of entities

• Average performance across filtered entities

BI-Ranking- Selectable Periods+$+%

All new reports are located in the Gallery, accessible from Reports & Libraries.

Running the Report

1. Navigate to Reports & Libraries > Gallery.

2. Select the BI-Ranking – Selectable Periods + $ + % report.

3. Click Filter at the top of the page to select the entities you want to include.

4. Click the green Preview button to generate the report.

5. If needed, add custom accounts (see below).

6. Select the orange Preview button on the left to refresh the report with your updates.

Changing the Reporting Period

While in the Gallery, click Edit on the report.

Use the dropdown menu to select one of the following:

• Reporting Month

• Reporting 3 Months

• Reporting Fiscal YTD

Adding Custom Accounts

You may include up to three custom accounts from your chart of accounts.

1. Select the desired reporting period.

2. Choose the corresponding tab at the bottom of the report.

3. Enter the account name(s) you want to include.

4. Select the Report tab to view the updated results.

BI-Ranking+Benchmarking- Selectable Periods+$+%

The BI-Ranking + Benchmarking report functions the same as the standard BI-Ranking report, with the addition of benchmarking results displayed at the top of the report.

Benchmark comparisons include:

• Top 10%

• Top 20%

• Average of all filtered entities

These benchmarks update dynamically based on the entities and filters applied, including any custom accounts shown in the report.

Changing the Reporting Period Benchmarking Report

From the Gallery, click Edit on the BI-Ranking + Benchmarking report.

Select the desired reporting period:

• Reporting Month

• Reporting 3 Months

• Reporting Fiscal YTD

Preview the report to apply your changes.
