Share a Report Template or Package

Overview

Qvinci users can share report templates and packages in the following ways:

• Share with all users in an account
• Share with all users under a specific Client / Company
• Share with a specific user 

Share With All Users in the Account or

All Users Under a Specific Client / Company

All existing users in the Account, or under a specific Client/Company, will receive the shared assets. As new users are set up, they too will dynamically receive the shared assets. Only users with administrative access may share at the Account or Client/Company level:

• Admins and Leaders may share with all users in the Account or any/all Clients/Companies
• Managers of specific Clients/Companies may share only with users in that Client/Company

Step 1. From Reports & Libraries > Libraries, click on the Mine tab.

Step 2. Identify the desired asset to share and select the Share button to the right of the intended Report or Package.

Step 3. From the Share with New drop-down, select the Client or Account option (certain permission levels are required).

Step 4. If the Client (Company) option was selected, choose the desired Client from the right drop-down box so that all users that are set up under that Client will receive the asset in their Shared with Me tab.

If the Account option was selected, then all users in the account will receive the asset in their Shared with Me tab.

Step 5. Click the Share  button to share the asset.

Step 6. The user will find the shared asset(s) on their Shared with Me tab on the libraries page.

You will have indication that a report is shared, when the button turns blue like this .

Share with a User

The intended user must be set up in Qvinci already.

Step 1. From Reports & Libraries > Libraries, click on the Mine tab.

Step 2. Identify the desired asset to share and select the Share  button to the right of the intended Report or Package.

Step 3. From the Share with New drop-down, select the User option and enter the desired user's email into the field.

Step 4. Click the Share button to share the asset.

Step 5. The user will find the shared asset(s) on their Shared with Me tab on the libraries page in Reports & Libraries.

You will have indication that a report is shared when the button turns blue like this .
